Vince Annable: $600K Complaint Against Wealth Strategies Advisor

Scottsdale financial advisor Vince Annable (CRD# 1033573) has received an investor complaint alleging the recommendation of unsuitable and illiquid investments. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is a broker with Coastal Equities, doing business as Wealth Strategies Advisory Group.

Mr. Annable’s BrokerCheck report discloses two investor complaints. The most recent, filed in April 2022, alleges breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, breach of contract, negligent supervision, fraud, violation of securities laws, and the recommendation of “high risk, unsuitable, illiquid and over concentrated” alternative investments. The pending complaint alleges damages of $600,000.

An earlier investor complaint, filed in April 2021, alleged due diligence failures, unsuitable investment recommendations, and over-concentration of alternative investments. In June 2021 the complaint reached a settlement of $31,000.

In a comment on the April 2021 complaint’s disclosure, Mr. Annable denied “any allegations of wrongdoing,” stating further: “The recommendation was suitable, based on the client’s investor profile and the information available at the time of investment. The Firm and I made a business/client relations decision to address the client’s concerns by purchasing the subject investment from him… while expressly denying any liability to the client whatsoever. The client remains a client of mine to this day.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Vince Annable holds 25 years of securities industry experience. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, he has been a broker with Coastal Equities since September 2021, doing business as Wealth Strategies Advisory Group.
