Shreveport, Louisiana financial advisor Bill Hancock (CRD# 2562794) allegedly recommended unsuitable variable annuities, according to a recent investor complaint. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Osaic Wealth, having previously been registered with Signator Investors.
Mr. Hancock’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in May 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Osaic Wealth, he recommended and sold unsuitable investments in variable annuities. The pending complaint alleges damages of $180,000.
H&H Wealth Partners, which offers securities through Osaic Wealth, describes Mr. Hancock as the firm’s partner and founder on its website. “We are confident that with our understanding of personal finance, coupled with our training as financial professionals, we can help people better prepare for the future,” the website explains of the firm’s services. “After years in the business, we have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives. According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Bill Hancock holds 30 years of securities industry experience. Based in Shreveport, Louisiana, he has been registered as a broker with Osaic Wealth since 2018. His past registrations include Signator Investors (2016-2018) and Transamerica Financial Advisors (1995-2016). His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6.
