Tally Lykins: Money Concepts Advisor Faces Elder Abuse Complaint

A recent investor complaint against Columbus, Indiana financial advisor Tally Lykins (CRD# 2439455) alleges that he committed elder abuse. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Money Concepts Capital Corporation and an investment advisor with Money Concepts Advisory Service.

Mr. Lykins’ BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in August 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Money Concepts Capital Corporation, he acted negligently, breached contract, negligently misrepresented material facts, violated state and federal securities laws, and committed elder abuse in connection with a Delaware Statutory Trust product. The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.

Investors should be aware that various FINRA rules and other securities industry standards prohibit brokers from misleading their clients when recommending or executing securities trades. FINRA Rule 2020, for example, stipulates specifically that no broker shall “effect any transaction in, or induce the purchase or sale of, any security by means of any manipulative, deceptive or other fraudulent device or contrivance.” In addition, FINRA Rule 2010 requires brokers to “observe high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade. Brokers who misrepresent investments may be held liable in the event of losses.

Based in Columbus, Indiana, he has been registered as a broker with Money Concepts Capital Corporation and an investment advisor with Money Concepts Advisory Service.
