A recent investor complaint against Chandler, Arizona financial advisor Dillon Hall (CRD# 6463342) alleges that his conduct resulted in damages of at least $500,000. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Realta Equities, doing business as Perch Wealth.
Mr. Hall’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in June 2026, it alleges that as a representative of Emerson Equity, he breached contract, committed promissory estoppel, violated the Consumer Protection and Trade Practices Act, breached his fiduciary duty, contravened securities statutes, and violated Regulation Best Interest. The pending complaint alleges damages between $500,000 and $1 million.
FINRA rules stipulate that brokers like Mr. Hall can only recommend investments and strategies that are suitable for a given customer. Under FINRA Rule 2111, a broker must “have a reasonable basis to believe that a recommended transaction or investment strategy” is appropriate for the customer’s objectives, a basis reached through reasonable diligence into the customer’s investment profile. Investment advisors are separately held to a fiduciary standard, a duty distinct from the suitability obligation that governs brokers. FINRA Rule 2010 requires representatives to “observe high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade.” Brokers who recommend unsuitable investments may be held liable in the event of losses.
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Dillon Hall holds 11 years of securities industry experience.
