Ken Marable: Pruco Denied Complaint Against LPL Advisor

A recent, denied investor complaint against Brooklyn, New York financial advisor Ken Marable (CRD# 2311940) alleged that his investment advice led to damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with LPL Enterprise, doing business as Marable Wealth Holdings.

Mr. Marable’s BrokerCheck report discloses one recent investor complaint. Filed in May 2026, it alleged that as a representative of Pruco Securities, he recommended unsuitable insurance investments. The complaint alleged unspecified damages and was denied by the firm.

Investors should be aware that FINRA rules and guidance require brokers and investment advisers to comply with a standard called “suitability.” In essence, the standard holds that brokers and advisers must “have a reasonable basis to believe a recommended transaction or investment strategy” is appropriate for the client’s investment profile. An investor’s profile is derived from a number of factors, including their age, financial status, investment objectives, liquidity needs, tax status, and risk tolerance. Per FINRA guidance, FINRA Rule 2111 requires brokers to have a firm understanding of both the product and the customer. Brokers who recommend investments without such an understanding may be found to have violated this rule, and may be held liable in the event of losses. Additional reading on the rules governing the suitability standard can be found via FINRA.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Ken Marable holds 31 years of securities industry experience. Based in Brooklyn, New York, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with LPL Enterprise since 2024, doing business as Marable Wealth Holdings. His past registrations include Prudential Financial Planning, Pruco Securities, AXA Advisors, Goldman Sachs, Hornor Townsend & Kent, and NYLife Securities. His credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. He holds 11 state licenses. (Information current as of September 12, 2026.)
