Albert Bevilacqua: Ameriprise Advisor Lands $200K FS Energy Complaint

Boca Raton financial advisor Albert Bevilacqua (CRD# 2656029) recently received an investor complaint alleging that he recommended unsuitable investments, including a Securian variable annuity. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is a broker and an investment advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services.

Mr. Bevilacqua’s BrokerCheck report discloses one recent investor complaint. Filed in October 2023,  it alleges that as an Ameriprise Financial Services representative, he recommended the customer recommend retirement money in “unsuitable and high commission investments, including a Securian variable annuity and FSEP (FS Energy and Power Fund). The pending complaint alleges damages of $200,000.

His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63.
