A recent investor complaint against Jacksonville, Florida financial advisors Alex Intriago (CRD# 6333662) and Angela Fettik (CRD# 4710729) alleges that they recommended an unsuitable investment. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that each is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Wells Fargo.
Mr. Intriago’s and Ms. Fettik’s BrokerCheck reports each disclose the same investor complaint. Filed in June 2026, it alleges that as representatives of Wells Fargo, they provided unsuitable investment advice between 2020 and 2025. The pending complaint alleges damages of $10 million.
For reference, FINRA’s suitability standard holds that stockbrokers must “have a reasonable basis to believe” that the recommendations they make to their clients are appropriate for those clients’ background and needs. As laid out in FINRA Rule 2111, the standard requires brokers to ascertain an investment’s suitability through “reasonable diligence” into the client’s investment profile, which includes their age, net worth, risk tolerance, income, and more. They must arrive at a reasonable basis to believe the recommendation is suitable for at least some investors, as well as a reasonable basis to believe it is suitable for the specific customer they’re dealing with. When they are considering a series of transactions in an account over which they have actual or de facto control, they must arrive at a reasonable basis to believe that the series of transactions, “even if suitable when viewed in isolation, is not excessive and unsuitable for the customer.”
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Angela Fettik holds 22 years of securities industry experience. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, she has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Wells Fargo since 2020. Her past registrations include Morgan Stanley, Raymond James & Associates, and Citigroup Global Markets. Mr. Intriago, meanwhile, holds 12 years of securities industry experience and has been registered with Wells Fargo’s Jacksonville office since 2023. His past registrations include Wells Fargo and M Holdings Securities. Ms. Fettik holds 29 state licenses, while Mr. Intriago holds 53. (Information current as of July 12, 2026.)
