Berkely Arrants: Why Did Savvy Advisor Resign from Leaders Group?

Houston, Texas financial advisor Berkely Arrants (CRD# 4692327) recently resigned from her member firm in connection with alleged rule violations. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that she is registered as a broker with The Leaders Group and an investment advisor with Savvy, and that she is the founder of Horizon Advisory Group.

Ms. Arrants’ BrokerCheck report discloses her resignation from The Leaders Group. Filed in October 2025, it states that she voluntary left the firm while under internal review for unspecified reasons. The disclosure provides no additional details regarding the conduct that gave rise to the review.

The Leaders Group’s BrokerCheck report discloses four regulatory enforcement actions against the firm. The most recent, filed in 2018, alleged that the firm failed to supervise the creation and distribution of consolidated reports, and that it failed to preserve consolidated reports sent to customers. The firm was censured in connection with these allegations and ordered to pay a fine of $95,000.

An earlier enforcement action, undertaken by the New York State Department of Financial Services and filed in 2017, alleged that the firm failed to timely notify the department that it was the subject of an administrative action by regulators in the state of Florida. The Department ordered the firm to pay a fine of $1,000.

A third enforcement action, undertaken in 2010 by the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, alleged that the firm failed to supervise an associated person, violated the terms of a registration agreement with the Office, and failed to make and keep current books and records. The Office ordered the firm to pay a fine of $22,500.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Berkely Arrants holds 22 years of securities industry experience. Based in Houston, Texas, she has been registered as a broker with The Leaders Group and an investment advisor with Savvy since 2025. Her past registrations include The Leaders Group, Commonwealth Financial Network, MML Investors Services, Hornor Townsend & Kent, Merrill Lynch, and Chase Investment Services. Her credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; and the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7. She is licensed in California, Iowa, Tennessee, and Texas. (Information current as of November 23, 2025.)
