Bryson Blackwell: Reg D Complaint Against Realta Advisor

A recent investor complaint against Scottsdale, Arizona financial advisor Bryson Blackwell (CRD# 7423209) alleges that his conduct resulted in damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Realta Equities and an investment advisor with Transe3nd, doing business as Waypoint 1031 DST Group and Wealth Strategies Advisory Group.

Mr. Blackwell’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in December 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Realta Equities, he breached his duties and obligations in connection with the recommendation of a “real estate based Regulation D private placement.” The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.

Investors should be aware that securities industry rules and standards require brokers like Mr. Blackwell to recommend investments and investment strategies that meet a standard known as suitability. FINRA Rule 2111, for instance, states that brokers must “have a reasonable basis to believe that a recommended transaction or investment strategy” is suitable for a customer’s investment profile, including their age, investment background, net worth, financial situation, risk tolerance, investment goals, and other concerns. The SEC’s Regulation Best Interest, meanwhile, establishes a “Care Obligation” under which brokers must “have a reasonable basis to believe that each recommendation or series of recommendations made is in the best interest of the particular retail customer and does not place their financial or other interests ahead of the interest of the retail customer.” Brokers who fail to uphold these standards may be held liable in the event of losses.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Bryson Blackwell holds four years of securities industry experience. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, he has been registered as a broker with Realta Equities since 2024 and an investment advisor with Transe3nd since 2025, doing business as Waypoint 1031 DST Group and Wealth Strategies Advisory Group. His past registrations include Emerson Equity, Coastal Equities, and Concorde Investment Services. His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; and the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7TO. He is licensed in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Washington. (Information current as of February 8, 2026.)
