The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.

A second investor complaint, filed in May 2015, alleged that as a representative of Merrill Lynch, he made unsuitable investment recommendations. The complaint alleged unspecified damages and was denied by the firm.

Investors should be aware that industry rules and standards forbid advisors like Mr. Angelino from misrepresenting material facts relating to the investments they recommend to their customers. Brokers who misrepresent investments may be liable in the event of losses and/or subject to disciplinary action.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Chris Angelino holds 30 years of securities industry experience. Based in Huntersville, North Carolina, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Merrill Lynch since 2008.
