LaraDorbecker Advisor Cindy Hanerhoff Receives Investor Complaint

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that she is a broker with Sunbelt Securities, doing business as LaraDorbecker Securities Corporation.

Ms. Hanerhoff’s BrokerCheck report discloses three investor complaints. The most recent, filed in September 2022, alleges that as a representative of Sunbelt Securities, she recommended unsuitable corporate bond investments. The pending complaint alleges damages of $168,000.

An earlier investor complaint, filed in 1992, alleged unauthorized transactions while she was at Merrill Lynch. The complaint reached a settlement of $27,500.

A third investor complaint, filed in 1989, alleged that the customer’s “investment base dropped due to market fluctuations” and that she misrepresented information regarding an investment. The complaint reached a settlement of $16,000.

A fourth disclosure on her BrokerCheck report describes Ms. Hanerhoff’s involvement in a 2014 FINRA enforcement action. According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Cindy Hanerhoff holds 39 years of securities industry experience. Based in Houston, Texas, she has been a broker with Sunbelt Securities since 2018, doing business as LaraDorbecker Securities Corporation.
