Clayton Taylor & Elizabeth Valenti: Platinum Advisors Face Complaint

San Antonio, Texas financial advisors Clayton Taylor (CRD# 7290665) and Elizabeth Valenti (CRD# 5346551) recently received an investor complaint alleging unauthorized trading. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that both are registered as brokers and investment advisors with Osaic Wealth, doing business as Platinum Wealth Solutions of Texas.

Mr. Taylor’s and Ms. Valenti’s BrokerCheck reports both disclose the same investor complaint. Filed in November 2025, it alleges that as representatives of Osaic Wealth, they engaged in unauthorized trading of an equity position and misrepresented material facts relating to a variable universal life insurance policy. The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages estimated to exceed $5,000.

Investors should be aware that FINRA-associated brokers like Mr. Taylor and Ms. Valenti are generally forbidden from effecting unauthorized transactions. Such conduct may be found to violate FINRA Rule 2010, which requires brokers to uphold high standards of commercial honor and just and equitable principles of trade; it may also or alternatively be found to violate FINRA Rule 2020, which states that no broker shall “effect any transaction in, or induce the purchase or sale of, any security by means of any manipulative, deceptive or other fraudulent device or contrivance.” Representatives who violate these rules may be found liable for damages in the event of losses.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Clayton Taylor holds five years of securities industry experience. Based in San Antonio, Texas, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Osaic Wealth since 2020 and 2021, respectively. Ms. Taylor, meanwhile, who is also based in San Antonio, has been registered as a broker and advisor with Osaic since 2018, having previously been registered with Signator Investors. Both representatives do business as Platinum Wealth Solutions of Texas. (Information current as of January 3, 2026.)
