New Complaint Against RockBridge Wealth’s Damian Bell

A recent investor complaint against Daphne, Alabama financial advisor Damian Bell (CRD# 2348521) alleges he made unsuitable investment recommendations that resulted in six-figure losses. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is a broker and an investment advisor with International Assets Advisory, doing business as RockBridge Wealth Management. 

Mr. Bell’s BrokerCheck report discloses multiple investor complaints. The most recent, filed in August 2022, alleges that as a representative of International Assets Advisory, he made unsuitable and misleading investment recommendations, omitted material facts, and performed inadequate due diligence. The pending complaint alleges damages of $40,000.

A second investor complaint, filed in May 2022, similarly alleges that as a representative of International Assets Advisory, he made misleading and unsuitable investment recommendations and failed to conduct reasonable due diligence. The pending complaint alleges damages of $169,000.

A third investor complaint, filed in December 2020, alleged that while at WFG International, he engaged in negligence, made unsuitable investment recommendations, breached contract, and breached his fiduciary duty. In April 2022 the complaint reached a settlement of $25,000.

A fourth investor complaint, filed in 2020, alleged he breached contract and violated state securities laws in connection with the sale of alternative investments. In April 2022 the complaint reached a settlement of $30,000.

A fifth investor complaint, filed in 2016, alleged misrepresentation, unsuitable recommendations, and breach of fiduciary duty in connection with investments in Servergy. The complaint reached a settlement of $250,000.

A sixth investor complaint, filed in 2017, alleged he breached his fiduciary duty and conducted inadequate due diligence in connection with a private placement while at WFG Investments. In August 2019 the complaint resolved with an award to the customer of $5.04 million.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Damian Bell holds 29 years of securities industry experience. Based in Daphne, Alabama, he has been a broker and an investment advisor with International Assets Advisory since 2017, doing business as RockBridge Wealth Management. His past registrations include International Assets Advisory, WFG Investments, Gunnallen Financial, Wachovia Securities, CapTrust Financial Advisors, Merrill Lynch, and Prudential Securities. His credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the SIE – Securities, or SIE; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65.
