Enrique Pascual: $635K Complaint Against Stonecrest Advisor

A recent investor complaint against San Juan, Puerto Rico financial advisor Enrique Pascual (CRD# 2184412) alleges that he recommended an unsuitable investment in a promissory note. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Stonecrest Capital Markets.

Mr. Pascual’s BrokerCheck report discloses more than a dozen investor complaints. The most recent, filed in October 2024, alleges that as a representative of Stonecrest Capital Markets, he recommended an unsuitable promissory note. The pending complaint alleges damages of $635,000.

An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2023, alleges that as a Herbert J. Sims representative, he provided poor advice to sell Puerto Rico bond investments to cover margin calls. The pending complaint alleges damages of $425,708.35.

A third investor complaint, filed in 2019, alleged that as an Oriental Financial Services representative, he recommended unsuitable investments, made negligent transactions, and misrepresented the risk associated with an investment. In 2021 the complaint reached a settlement of $45,000.

A fourth investor complaint, filed in 2018, alleged that as a Santander Securities representative, he made unsuitable recommendations, over-concentrated investments, committed fraud, breached his fiduciary duty, breached contract, and acted negligently. In 2021 the complaint reached a settlement of $250,000.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Enrique Pascual holds 32 years of securities industry experience. Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he has been registered as a broker with Stonecrest Capital Markets since 2019. His registration history includes Herbert J. Sims & Company, Oriental Financial Services Corporation, OFS Securities, Samuel A. Ramirez & Company, Santander Securities, Doral Securities, Barnett Investments, Dean Witter Reynolds, Painewebber, and Chatfield Dean & Company. His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Futures Managed Funds Examination, or Series 31; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63.
