Eric Bell: Tangible Wealth Advisor Lands $542K Complaint

Greenwood Village, Colorado financial advisor Eric Bell (CRD# 7015161) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his conduct resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Emerson Equity, doing business as Tangible Wealth Solutions.

Mr. Bell’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in July 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Emerson Equity, he acted negligently, breached his fiduciary duty, committed fraud, and violated state and federal securities law. The pending complaint alleges damages of $542,000.

For reference, negligence refers to an advisor’s failure to uphold their duty of care to their clients. Broadly speaking, that failure takes the form of an advisor doing something that a reasonably prudent advisor would not do under the same circumstances, or not doing something that a reasonably prudent advisor would do. The recommendation of unsuitable investments, the failure to diversify a portfolio, a lack of adequate due diligence on an investment: all of these can be forms of negligence. As with other forms of broker and advisor misconduct, representatives who engage in negligence may be held liable in the event of losses.

Tangible Wealth Solutions’ website includes a profile of Mr. Bell that describes his experience and services as a Vice President at the firm. As it explains, his expertise includes structuring deals, identifying asset opportunities and optimizing profit and losses. The website also explains that the firm’s investment philosophy includes such tenets as “risk mitigation,” “disciplined investment process,” and “long term growth mindset.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Eric Bell holds six years of securities industry experience. Based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Emerson Equity since 2020, doing business as Tangible Wealth Solutions. He was previously registered with Colorado Financial Services Corporation from 2018 until 2020. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Direct Participation Programs Representative Examination, or Series 22; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. (Information current as of October 25, 2025.)
