George Jing: FINRA Bars Fired TransAmerica Advisor

Former Rockville, Maryland financial advisor George Jing (CRD# 2835725) was recently sanctioned and barred in connection with alleged private securities transactions. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority record show that he was most recently registered as a broker with TransAmerica Financial Advisors.

A Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent (No. 2025086695201) describes FINRA’s disciplinary action against Mr. Jing. Filed in October 2025, it alleges that he refused to cooperate with an investigation “into whether he participated in an undisclosed outside business activity or private securities transaction(s).” As the Letter states, FINRA sent him a request to produce information and documents on August 25, 2025, and he indicated via counsel on October 16, 2025 that he would not do so. FINRA found that this refusal constituted a violation of FINRA Rules 8210 and 2010. As a result, it barred him from associating with any member firm in any capacity.

A disclosure on Mr. Jing’s BrokerCheck report discloses his termination from TransAmerica Financial Services. Filed in August 2025, it states that the firm fired him in connection with allegations that he participated in an undisclosed outside business activity and/or an undisclosed private securities transaction.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, George Jing holds 28 years of securities industry experience. Most recently based in Rockville, Maryland, he was last registered with TransAmerica Financial Services from 2012 until 2025. His past registrations include World Group Securities (Largo, Maryland; 2002-2012) and WMA Securities (Duluth, Georgia; 1997-2002). His credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Principal Examination, or Series 26; and the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6. He has been barred from associating with any member firm in all capacities. (Information current as of October 30, 2025.)
