Jason Jeanquart: Cola Wealth Advisor Receives Bond Complaint

Lexington, South Carolina financial advisor Jason Jeanquart (CRD# 6593478) recently received an investor complaint alleging that he misrepresented risky investments. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Centaurus Financial, doing business as Cola Wealth Advisors.

Mr. Jeanquart’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in April 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Centaurus Financial, he “recommended and misrepresented complex, high-risk, illiquid investments” in corporate bonds and stock products. The pending complaint alleges damages of $20,000.

In a statement included with the complaint’s disclosure, Mr. Jeanquart “vehemently” denied the allegations and described them as meritless. “The investments about which the customer complained were suitable and were recommended based on the customer’s objectives, goals and financial circumstances and were offered only after his review of all material documentation related to the investment,” he writes further. “ The customer confirmed in writing that they not only received the requisite investment documentation/disclosures, but that he fully understood the characteristics and risks of the investments. At all times, I put the customer’s interest first and I will vigorously defend this matter to the fullest extent of the law.”

Cola Wealth Advisors’ website includes a page describing the firm’s mission to provide its clients with personalized services. “We customize a financial strategy based on your needs first, and then work to implement it in a cost efficient, easy to understand way,” it explains. “Our approach is straightforward: It’s all about relationships. Whether it’s your first meeting with us or you’ve been a client for 35 years, it is immediately apparent who the most important person in the room is.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Jason Jeanquart holds seven years of securities industry experience. Based in Lexington, South Carolina, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Centaurus Financial since 2017 and 2020, respectively, doing business as Cola Wealth Advisors. His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7. He holds 25 state licenses. (Information current as of June 19, 2025.)
