Former Hialeah, Florida financial advisor Kevin McCarthy (CRD# 1702715) was recently sanctioned and barred in connection with alleged rule violations. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he was most recently registered as a broker with Madison Avenue Securities, doing business as Kevin McCarthy Advisory Services.
A Letter of Acceptance, Waiver, and Consent (No. 2025088420501) describes FINRA’s disciplinary action against Mr. McCarthy. Filed in May 2026, it alleges that he “refused to provide documents and information requested pursuant to FINRA Rule 8210,” which empowers FINRA to require persons persons under its jurisdiction to provide documents, information, and testimony connected with matters under its investigation. Finding that his refusal violated the rule, FINRA barred hi from associating with any member firm in all capacities.
Mr. McCarthy’s BrokerCheck report discloses his termination from Madison Avenue Securities. Filed in January 2026, the disclosure states that the firm fired him after an internal review determined that he “accessed clients’ personal bank accounts, and was involved in certain payments made from those bank accounts” and that “some of these payments made from the bank accounts were to individuals with a familial relationship to Mr. McCarthy.”
A second disclosure on Mr. McCarthy’s BrokerCheck report concerns an investor complaint against him. Filed in January 2026, it alleges that as a representative of Madison Avenue Securities, he “facilitated the disappearance of $1.6 million from three of the client’s bank accounts.” The pending complaint alleges damages of $1.6 million.
An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2018, alleged that as a Madison Avenue Securities representative, he misrepresented and recommended an unsuitable investment. The complaint reached a settlement of $19,000.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Kevin McCarthy holds 32 years of securities industry experience. Most recently based in Hialeah, Florida, he was last registered as a broker with Madison Avenue Securities from 2007 until 2026, doing business as Kevin McCarthy Advisory Services. His past registrations include USAllianz Securities, Legacy Financial Services, United Securities Alliance, Independent Financial Securities, GKN Securities, Paragon Capital, J.
