Former Webster, New York financial advisor Michael Mauro (CRD# 5910550) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his conduct resulted in seven-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that the former JP Morgan Securities representative is not currently registered as a broker or an investment advisor.
Mr. Mauro’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in April 2024, it alleged that as a representative of JP Morgan Securities, he solicited an investment in an unapproved outside business activity. The complaint alleged damages of $1 million and was denied by the firm in May 2024.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Michael Mauro holds 12 years of securities industry experience. Most recently based in Webster, New York, he was registered with JP Morgan Securities from April 2023 until February 2024. His past registrations include LPL Financial (New York, New York; 2022-2023), Merrill Lynch (Pittsford, New York; 2019-2022), JP Morgan Securities (Pittsford, New York; 2012-2019), and Chase Investment Services (Henrietta, New York; 2011-2012). His credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66.
