Former APW Capital financial advisor Nathan Paulson (CRD# 4799867) recently received an investor complaint alleging seven-figure damages. Records provided by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission show that he is currently an investment advisor with Paulson Wealth Management in Wheaton, Illinois.
Mr. Paulson’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in June 2023, it alleges that as a representative of Paulson Wealth Management, he breached his fiduciary duty, willfully and recklessly disregarded the customers’ interests, made risky and unauthorized trades and margin transactions, and failed “to exercise a reasonable degree of care, skill, prudence, and diligence” in managing the customers’ accounts. The pending complaint alleges damages of $5 million.
As Paulson Wealth Management’s website explains, Mr. Paulson is the firm’s president and founder. He is also the creator of “the 3rd Stream approach, a unique income, protection, and growth strategy,” and describes himself as “an expert on derivatives trading, investment advice and wealth management.” More information about his experience is available here.
