Former Oak Lawn, Illinois financial advisor Randy Heller (CRD# 1209975) was recently sanctioned and barred in connection with alleged client impersonations. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he was most recently registered as a broker with Ausdal Financial Partners, having previously been registered with KCD Financial.
In addition, Mr. Heller’s name appears on a Form D filing for Inspired Healthcare Capital, a senior living development company that recently entered bankruptcy. According to an InvestmentNews report, the company sold private placement offerings and alternative investments “through a network of independent contractor broker-dealers,” reportedly receiving “more than $100 million in fees and commissions” for investments that later ceased making distributions to investors.
Mr. Heller’s BrokerCheck report discloses FINRA’s disciplinary action against him. Filed in 2024, the disclosure states that he “refused to provide documents and information requested by FINRA in connection with its investigation surrounding allegations that Heller had impersonated clients in phone calls.” As a result of these findings, he was indefinitely barred from associating with any member firm in any capacity.
A second disclosure on his BrokerCheck report concerns his resignation from Ausdal Financial Partners. Filed in 2023, it states that he voluntarily resigned from the firm in connection with allegations that he personated a client.
A third disclosure concerns an investor complaint against him. Filed in 2015, it alleged that as a representative of KCD Financial, he recommended an unsuitable real estate investment trust. In 2017 the complaint reached a settlement of $15,000.
