Ryan Finch: $542K Complaint Against Tangible Wealth Advisor

A recent investor complaint against Greenwood, Colorado financial advisor Ryan Finch (CRD# 6379871) alleges that his conduct resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Emerson Equity, doing business as Tangible Wealth Solutions.

Mr. Finch’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in July 2025, it alleges that as a representative of Emerson Equity, he violated state and federal securities law, breached contract, committed common law fraud, breached his fiduciary duty, and acted negligently. The pending complaint alleges damages of $542,000.

The SEC’s fiduciary standard stipulates that financial advisors must place their clients’ interests above their own, fully disclose conflicts of interest, and act in good faith and with loyalty to the customer. The fiduciary duty is similar to but ultimately distinct from the suitability standard that applies to brokers, requiring them to recommend investments in line with a customer’s background and objectives, based on reasonable diligence into the customer’s profile. Representatives who breach their fiduciary duty may be found liable for damages and/or subject to disciplinary action.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Ryan Finch holds 10 years of securities industry experience. Based in Greenwood, Colorado, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Emerson Equity since 2020, doing business as Tangible Wealth Solutions. His past registrations include Colorado Financial Services Corporation (2017-2020) and Cobiz Wealth (2014-2017). His credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7TO; and the Direct Participation Programs Representative Examination, or Series 22.
