Tony Tolene: Infinity Advisor Receives $100K Complaint

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania financial advisor Tony Tolene (CRD# 5730068) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his conduct resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission records show that he is registered as an investment advisor, and was formerly a broker, with Infinity Financial Services.

Mr. Tolene’s BrokerCheck report discloses several investor complaints. The most recent, filed in May 2025, alleges that as a representative of Infinity Financial Services, he mismanaged the client’s money as well as the client’s mother’s. The pending complaint alleges damages of $100,000.

In a statement included with the pending complaint’s disclosure, Mr. Tolene defended himself against the allegations. “This individual is a client of an affiliated registered investment advisor,” he wrote. “The affiliate believes that there has been no mismanagement of the client’s account, as her investment profile was established with a speculative investment objective and maximum risk, and does not agree with the loss assessment, as the losses in the account were unrealized.”

A second investor complaint, filed in 2023, alleged that as an Infinity Financial Services representative, he stole funds and persuaded a client to buy a home for him. The pending complaint alleges unspecified damages.

In a statement included with the complaint’s disclosure, Mr. Tolene described the allegations as false and unsubstantiated. “Each family member and my client provided signed and notarized letters stating the allegations by my sister are false,” he wrote. “My sister has a history of contacting regulatory agencies and submitting false information. My sister erroneously claimed elder abuse with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging against my brother. The department investigated the allegations and determined the allegations were false.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission, Tony Tolene holds 15 years of securities industry experience. Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he has been registered as an investment advisor with Infinity Financial Services since 2020. His past registrations include LPL Financial, PNC Investments, Chase Investment Services, and David Lerner Associates. His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; and the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7. He is licensed in Pennsylvania. (Information current as of July 20, 2025.)
