UBS Rep Scott Rosenberg: Multiple Options Overlay Complaints
Scott Rosenberg (CRD# 2754292), a broker and investment adviser based in New York, New York, has received more than a dozen pending customer complaints, according to records maintained by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. The complaints against the UBS Financial Services representative concern an options overlay strategy investment offered by the firm, and seek millions of dollars in cumulative damages.
The most recent pending complaint against Scott Rosenberg was filed in June 2020. It alleges that starting in 2017, as a representative of UBS Financial Services, he made misrepresentations of material facts and unsuitable recommendations concerning the options overlay strategy. The complaint seeks $250,000 in damages.
A May 2020 complaint detailing the same allegations seeks $420,000 in damages.
Another complaint about the options strategy was filed in May 2020 and concerns a time frame starting in 2017 and ending in 2020. This complaint seeks $3 million in damages.
A March 2020 complaint alleges that Scott Rosenberg, while registered with UBS Financial Services, unsuitably recommended the options overlay strategy and provided misleading information regarding it.
