Los Angeles, California financial advisor Kade Osburn (CRD# 7475893) allegedly provided unsuitable advice, according to a recent investor complaint. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Signature Estate Securities and an investment advisor with Signature Estate & Investment Advisors.
Mr. Osburn’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in January 2026, it alleges that as a representative of Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, he provided unsuitable advice and breached his fiduciary duty in connection with an options investment. The pending complaint alleges damages of $174,204.
For reference, the fiduciary standard stipulates that financial advisors must place their clients’ interests above their own, make full disclosures regarding any conflicts of interest, and operate in good faith and with loyalty to the customer. This is similar to but distinct from the suitability standard that requires brokers to recommend only investments that are appropriate for their client’s background and objectives. Rule 15l-1(a)(1) of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, also known as Regulation Best Interest, requires advisors like Mr. Osburn to recommend only investments and strategies that are in their clients’ best interests. The rule states specifically that firms and their representatives must “act in the best interest of the retail customer at the time the recommendation is made, without placing the financial or other interest of the broker, dealer, or natural person who is an associated person of a broker or dealer making the recommendation ahead of the interest of the retail customer.”
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Kade Osburn holds four years of securities industry experience. Based in Los Angeles, California, he has been registered as a broker with Signature Estate Securities since 2024 and an investment advisor with Signature Estate & Investment Advisors since 2025. He was previously registered with Solutions 4 Wealth from 2021 until 2024. His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; and the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7TO. He is licensed in Texas. (Information current as of February 8, 2026.)
