A recent investor complaint against Lake Mary, Florida financial advisor Mitch Arnold (CRD# 1721111) alleges that his advice resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with LPL Financial, doing business as Financial Services of Central Florida.
Mr. Arnold’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in January 2026, it alleges that as a representative of LPL Financial, he he recommended an investment strategy involving “non-transparent, non-traded, complex products” that were not in the customers’ best interests, and that he did not properly advise the customers about the “potential tax consequences on the rollover of an annuity.” The pending complaint alleges damages of $400,000.
In a statement included with the complaint’s disclosure, Mr. Arnold defended himself against the allegations. “The representative denies any wrongdoing and asserts that the allegations are without merit,” he wrote. “The investments about which the customers complained were suitable and were recommended based on the customers’ objectives, goals and financial circumstances and were offered only after their review of all material documentation related to the investments. At all times, the representative put the customers’ interest first.”
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Mitch Arnold holds 38 years of securities industry experience. Based in Lake Mary, Florida, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with LPL Financial since 2006 and 2007, respectively, doing business as Financial Services of Central Florida. His past registrations include Raymond James Financial Services, FSC Securities, and Pension Investors Securities Corporation. His credentials include the passage of six securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination, or Series 6; the Direct Participation Programs Representative Examination, or Series 22; the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. He is licensed in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
