Brady Lipp: $1mm Fraud Complaint Against NI Advisor

Milpitas, California financial advisor Brady Lipp (CRD# 1359835) recently received an investor complaint alleging that he committed fraud. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with NI Advisors and that he is the Principal Managing Director of One Alpha North Capital.

Mr. Lipp’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in March 2026, it alleges that as a representative of Great Point Capital, he committed fraud and negligent supervision, resulting in the loss of funds. The pending complaint alleges damages of $1 million.

A second disclosure on his BrokerCheck report concerns his resignation from Great Point Capital. Filed in 2025, the disclosure states that he was “permitted to resign” in connection with allegations that he was involved in fundraising for a firm called “RahRah ‘without authorization. “He had at one time brought RahRah to GPC and inquired whether GPC wished to have involvement and was told after review of RahRah’s proposal GPC was not interested and would not participate,” the disclosure states, adding: “GPC told Lipp that if he separately wished to be involved in an outside business activity with RahRah as a finder (as opposed to a private securities transaction) he would need to submit a written request to do so as required by FINRA Rule 3270. GPC would then review his submission. He never made any request but apparently continued to be involved with RahRah, which is a violation of GPC’s rules and procedures. One customer claims Lipp mishandled the involvement with RahRah to the customer’s detriment. As a result of the discovery by GPC, Lipp’s association with GPC was terminated.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Brady Lipp holds 32 years of securities industry experience. Based in Milpitas, California, he has been registered as a broker with NI Advisors since April 2025. His past registrations include Great Point Capital, David A. Noyes & Company, Alps Distributors, Taglich Brothers, Quasar Distributors, Jesup & Lamont, Credit Suisse Asset Management Securities, Strong Funds Distributors, and Edward D. Jones & Company. His credentials include the passage of six securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7TO; and the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7. He is licensed in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, and North Dakota. (Information current as of March 30, 2026.)
