Jayson Decandia: MassMutual Denies $100K Complaint Against Advisor

Fairfield, New Jersey financial advisor Jayson Decandia (CRD# 5090632) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his conduct resulted in damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with MML Investors Services, or MassMutual.

Mr. Decandia’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in Filed in December 2023, it alleged that as a representative of MML Investors Services, he represented that the customer would earn a five percent return on a variable annuity and that her money would be invested conservatively, though it eventually suffered losses. The complaint alleged damages of $100,000 and was denied by the firm in January 2024.

Based in Fairfield, New Jersey, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with MML Investors Services since 2017. He is also a representative of CREATIVE Financial Group. His past registrations include MSI Financial Services, New England Securities, MetLife Securities, Walnut Street Securities, and Tower Square Securities. His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE: and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66. He is licensed in Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
