Worden Capital’s Jamie Worden Suspended by FINRA

New York City broker Jamie Worden (CRD# 4637404) has been named in several pending investor complaints and a recent regulatory sanction. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) records show that Worden, who was recently suspended by FINRA, is currently registered with his member firm Worden Capital Management.

Jamie Worden’s BrokerCheck report currently lists seven pending customer complaints against him and two complaints that reached settlement. He was also the subject of a December 2020 sanction finding that he and his member firm failed to establish, maintain, and enforce supervisory protocols “designed to achieve compliance with FINRA’s suitability rule as it pertains to excessive trading.” He was issued a $15,000 fine, a 15-day suspension, and a three-month suspension from acting in any supervisory capacities.

A pending complaint filed in July 2021 alleges that while at Worden Capital Management, Jamie Worden failed in his supervisory duties in connection to stock products and margin sellouts. The pending complaint alleges damages of $330,113.

A pending complaint filed in March 2020 alleges that while at the same member firm, he failed in his supervisory duties in connection to stock investments from June 2015 through December 2019. The pending complaint alleges damages of $1,025,551.

A complaint filed in 2019 alleges that while at WCM, he failed in his supervisory duties in connection to investments in over-the-counter equity products and listed equity products. The complaint reached a settlement of $19,999.

Another complaint filed in 2019 alleged that while at WCM, he did not provide reasonable supervision. The complaint reached a settlement in 2020 of $10,000.

A complaint filed in 2018 alleged that while at WCM, he failed in his supervisory duties in connection to stock investments. The complaint reached a settlement in 2019 of $4,800.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Jamie Worden holds 18 years of securities industry experience and is currently registered as a broker with Worden Capital Management in New York, New York. His prior registrations include Salomon Whitney in New York City; John Thomas Financial in New York City; Joseph Gunnar & Company in New York City; SW Bach & Company in New York City; Ehrenkrantz King Nussbaum in Melville, New York; Olympia Asset Management in New York City; and Murjen Financial in Syosset, New York. He has passed five securities industry qualifying examinations: the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; and the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7.
