Travis Salley: Zero Day Advisor Fired by EmpiriKal Partners

West Point, New York financial advisor Travis Salley (CRD# 6523971) was recently fired by a former member firm in connection with alleged rule violations. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission records show that the former EmpiriKal Partners broker is currently registered as an investment advisor with Zero Day Capital Enterprises.

Mr. Salley’s BrokerCheck report discloses his termination from EmpiriKal Partners. Filed in July 2024, it states that the firm fired him in connection with allegations that he participated in an unapproved outside business activity.

For reference, FINRA Rule 3270 prohibits brokers like Mr. Salley from engaging in unapproved outside business activities. “No registered person may be an employee, independent contractor, sole proprietor, officer, director or partner of another person, or be compensated, or have the reasonable expectation of compensation, from any other person as a result of any business activity outside the scope of the relationship with his or her member firm,” the rule stipulates, “unless he or she has provided prior written notice to the member, in such form as specified by the member.” Registered representatives who violate this rule may be subject to disciplinary action and/or held liable for damages.

EmpiriKal Partners’ website includes a page describing the firm’s services, which include retirement planning, estate planning, college planning, and investing. “Our collaborative approach provides a broader perspective, enhancing the benefits we deliver to our clients,” it explains. “With a combined experience of over 100 years, empiriKal partners has assisted numerous individuals facing similar issues and concerns. We can help you develop an approach that is specifically designed to address your unique situation.”

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission, Travis Salley holds eight years of securities industry experience. Based in West Point, New York, he has been registered as an investment advisor with Zero Day Capital Enterprises since May 2024. His past registrations include EmpiriKal Partners (Hattiesburg, Mississippi; 2020-2024), Wells Fargo Clearing Services (Charlotte, North Carolina; 2016-2020), and Edward Jones (Henderson, Nevada; 2015). His credentials include the passage of three securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE: and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66. He is licensed in New York. (Information current as of July 30, 2024.)
