Sun City West, Arizona financial advisor Bob Kromer (CRD# 1448765) recently received an investor complaint that alleged fraud and reached a six-figure settlement. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and Securities and Exchange Commission records show that the former Securities America broker is currently registered as an investment advisor with RK Retirement Solutions.
Mr. Kromer’s BrokerCheck report discloses six investor complaints. The most recent, filed in August 2026, alleged that as a representative of RK Retirement Solutions, he committed fraud, acted negligently, and misrepresented material facts in connection with allegedly risky and illiquid investments. The complaint reached a settlement of $155,000.
In a statement included with the complaint’s disclosure, Mr. Kromer defended himself against the allegations. “A customer dispute arose regarding the performance of certain investments. In order to avoid the protracted costs, uncertainty, and disruption of extended litigation, the parties mutually agreed to resolve the matter,” the statement reads. “The individual advisor and the firm deny any and all allegations of wrongdoing, liability, or rule violations. The matter was settled globally for $155,000.00 funded entirely by the individual, and the underlying action has been permanently dismissed with prejudice.”
An earlier investor complaint, filed in 2011, alleged that as a representative of Tower Square Securities, he recommended an unsuitable variable universal life insurance policy. In 2012 the complaint reached a settlement of $70,000.
