Antonio del Castillo: Fidelity Advisor Faced $129K Complaint

Campbell, California financial advisor Antonio del Castillo (CRD# 4986536) recently received an investor complaint alleging that his advice resulted in six-figure losses. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker with Fidelity Brokerage Services and an investment advisor with Fidelity Personal and Workplace Advisors.

Mr. del Castillo’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in January 2025, it alleged that as a representative of Charles Schwab & Company, he recommended an investment strategy involving exchange-traded funds that was not in the customer’s best interest. The complaint alleged damages of $129,000 and was denied by the firm.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Antonio del Castillo holds 18 years of securities industry experience. Based in Campbell, California, he has been registered as a broker with Fidelity Brokerage Services and an investment advisor with Fidelity Personal and Workplace Advisors since 2023. His registration history includes Ameriprise Financial Services (San Diego, California; 2022-2023), Charles Schwab & Company (New York City, New York; 2017-2021), Strategic Advisors (New York, New York; 2013-2017), and Fidelity Brokerage Services (New York, New York; 2005-2017). His credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7; the Uniform Combined State Law Examination, or Series 66; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. He is licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
