Former Green Bay, Wisconsin financial advisor Jet Huempfner (CRD# 7076803) recently received an investor complaint alleging that their advice resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that the former LPL Financial broker is not currently registered with any FINRA member firm.
Mx. Huempfner’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in March 2024, it alleges that as a representative of LPL Financial, they traded NVDA stock without authorization. The complaint alleged damages of $360,000 and was denied by the firm.
In a statement included with the complaint’s disclosure, Mx. Huempfner provided some commentary on the complaint. “The client alleges the licensed assistant sold securities from the client’s phone without authorization,” it explains “The memorialized meeting notes and emails show the client requested the licensed assistant’s help liquidating her position. The advisor urged the client to consult a tax professional at multiple points in the relationship, including immediately before the client agreed to sell her position… The client objected to the transactions only after consulting a tax professional nine months later.”
According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Jet Huempfner holds four years of securities industry experience. Most recently based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, they were registered as a broker with LPL Financial from 2019 until 2024. Their credentials include the passage of four securities industry qualifying exams: the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7TO; the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63; and the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65. They are not currently licensed with any state or firm. (Information current as of May 28, 2024.)
