Larry Feldmesser: Stifel Advisor Receives 6-Figure Complaint

A recent investor complaint against Washington, DC financial advisor Larry Feldmesser (CRD# 1848547) alleges that his advice resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that he is registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Stifel Nicolaus & Company.

Mr. Feldmesser’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in August 2024, it alleges that he acted negligently, misrepresented an investment in a certificate of deposit, and violated Wisconsin securities law. The pending investor complaint alleges damages of $189,844.

Based in Washington, DC, he has been registered as a broker and an investment advisor with Stifel Nicolaus & Company since 2008. His past registrations include InterOcean Securities (Chicago, Illinois; 2007-2008), Ameriprise Financial Services (Brookfield, Wisconsin; 2007), UBS Financial Services (Brookfield, Wisconsin; 1999-2007), Merrill Lynch (New York, New York; 1996-1999), Dean Witter Reynolds (Purchase, New York; 1996), Schroder Wertheim & Company (New York, New York; 1995), Oppenheimer & Company (New York, New York; 1994-1995), the Chicago Corporation (Chicago, Illinois; 1991-1994), Tucker Anthony (Boston, Massachusetts; 1991), Mabon Nugeny & Company (1990-1991), and Tucker Anthony (1989-1990).
