Mikayla Raleigh: Quincy Wells Advisor Lands $500K Complaint

A recent investor complaint against Cary, North Carolina financial advisor Mikayla Raleigh (CRD# 7181755) alleges that her conduct resulted in six-figure damages. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records show that she is registered as a broker with Quincy Wells Capital and an investment advisor with Raleigh Capital Management.

Ms. Raleigh’s BrokerCheck report discloses one investor complaint. Filed in September 2026, it alleges that as a representative of Great Point Capital, she committed common law fraud, breached her fiduciary duty, failed in her supervisory duties, and engaged in negligence. The pending complaint alleges damages of $500,000.

For reference, negligence refers to an advisor’s failure to uphold their duty of care to their clients. Broadly speaking, that failure takes the form of an advisor doing something that a reasonably prudent advisor would not do under the same circumstances, or not doing something that a reasonably prudent advisor would do. The recommendation of unsuitable investments, the failure to diversify a portfolio, a lack of adequate due diligence on an investment: all of these can be forms of negligence. As with other forms of broker and advisor misconduct, representatives who engage in negligence may be held liable in the event of losses.

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Mikayla Raleigh holds six years of securities industry experience. Based in Cary, North Carolina, she has been registered as a broker with Quincy Wells Capital since 2026 and an investment advisor with Raleigh Capital Management since 2019. Her past registrations include Great Point Capital and AAG Capital. Her credentials include the passage of five securities industry qualifying exams: the General Securities Principal Examination, or Series 24; the Securities Industry Essentials Examination, or SIE; the General Securities Representative Examination, or Series 7TO; the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, or Series 65; and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination, or Series 63. She holds 19 state licenses. (Information current as of September 19, 2026.)
